Sovereign AI Appliance

Built with Greenix Digital

A capable AI assistant that runs entirely inside your walls, on hardware you can point at.

Why we are building it

The problem this closes

Some organisations cannot use hosted AI at all. Not because of policy nervousness, but because the material is classified, legally privileged, or subject to a residency obligation that no cloud contract satisfies. The usual answer has been to go without, and staff work around it with consumer tools on personal devices, which is a worse security position than the one being avoided. Small-form-factor accelerators now run genuinely useful models locally, so the honest answer has changed: the model can come to the data.

Contents

What it is

  • A compact edge device — the class of hardware built around accelerators such as the NVIDIA Jetson Orin family — sized for a desk, a secure room or a rack, not a data centre.
  • Open-weight models tuned for the domain, running locally through an optimised inference stack. No API key, no vendor endpoint, no telemetry.
  • Genuinely offline: no network egress by design, so it can be deployed air-gapped and stay that way. Nothing to misconfigure into leaking.
  • Document analysis and retrieval over your own corpus, held on the device, so the sensitive material never becomes someone else's training data.
  • A documented update path for models and firmware via controlled offline transfer, with each version recorded — because an air-gapped device that quietly ages is its own risk.
  • Deployment and tuning support, plus the control documentation your assessor will ask for: what it runs, where the data sits, who administers it and how it is patched.

What it deliberately does not do

It does not match the largest hosted frontier models, and we will not pretend otherwise — local inference trades peak capability for containment, and the trade is only worth making when containment is the requirement. It is not a substitute for an accredited assessment: we supply the control documentation, and your assessor reaches their own conclusion. It does not connect to anything by default, which is the point.

Where the name lands

Sovereign AI Appliance is a working name. The product shape is settled; the branding is not.

Who it is for

Organisations handling material that cannot leave the perimeter — defence and national security, classified or protected government work, legal practices holding privileged material, and regulated businesses with hard data residency obligations.

Format

Hardware appliance with a supported software stack. Purchase or lease, with an optional support agreement.

Status

In development. Commercial terms will be published with the first release.

Built with Greenix Digital. Hardware specification, model selection and pricing are being finalised — the capability is real, the configuration is not yet fixed.

Next step

Tell us you want this one

Registering your interest puts you at the front of the release and shapes what we finish first. If enough people ask for a different product before this one, we change the order.

A short first conversation, then a clear recommendation.

Tell us what the program is, where it is, and what has to hold up. If we are not the right firm, we will say so and point you to who is.
